So the Hornchurch dream dies on a sad afternoon in deepest Essex. Whilst I have expressed my dislike of AFC Hornchurch before, I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest sympathies to those who knew and loved Harry Martin. It was truly a moving moment, especially the post minutes silence song, which drew a tear to many an eye. RIP Harry, I’m sure you will be missed by many. I have never gained such a respect for a team after that silence. Fair play boys.

As for the game? In a word, awful. As for the bar facilities? Excellent. Although be warned, baileys and london pride does not mix well in the stomach.

I was fairly happy with the draw, as in all likelyhood we could be with Team Bath in the 2nd round. It also gives us a chance to visit (albeit fairly expensively) historic Bath, a lovely place to spend a day. Onwards we go, on a quest to wembley. Come on Team Bath!

ps As for the altercation with the chilli,  I was fully in the right. The guy was an utter cunt.
