Did He Really Mean It?

I am a frivilous fool. Quite often I find myself skint only a week after pay day. However, if anything was going to inspire me to save my hard earned cash, its Steve May. So on Tuesday, I put £30 in an envelop, scrawled ‘Hornchurch vs Dulwich’ on it and stuck it to my wall. Every time I have left over cash, it goes in the envelope. The fund is now up to £45. I fully intend to stick at least another £30 in there before next saturday.

 So from now until next saturday, please don’t invite me anywhere. I don’t want a spare ticket for a gig, and I don’t want to go for a pint that will inevitably end in a session. I need to lock myself away for the big clash in Upminster. Unless the barmaid from the vale fancies a drink of course…..
