Sunday Sunday
Speaking about the movement of the tie, FA Cup run veteran bamos said: ‘This is an interesting move. I assume it’s been done due to Fisher Athletic, who share Dulwich’s Champion Hill ground, having a home league game on the Saturday afternoon. I am of course making this shit up, but it’s entirely possible, isn’t it? Personally, I’m delighted, as this gives me the opportunity to drink all day on Saturday and watch Jeff Stelling on Soccer Saturday in a Soho pub, which is always a nice way to spend the afternoon. Of course it remains to be seen whether the ginger barmaid at The Vale will be working on Sunday lunchtime, which is the only possible downside to this development. But the Australian barmaid at the Old Coffee House is a worthy replacement, I feel’.
So, the first Sunday afternoon game of the FA Cup comes early. It’ll probably be televised on Setanta Sports Eight, so look out for us in the packed grandstands.
